ASSASSIN’S CREED III HITS THE 7 MILLION SALES MARK WORLDWIDE

Ubisoft has announced that, Assassin’s Creed III is the fastest selling game in the company’s history. The French publisher announced that Assassin’s Creed III  had sold over 7 million copies globally just a month after launch. Tony Key, senior vice president of sales and marketing, Ubisoft says:

THE RECEPTION FOR ASSASSIN’S CREED III HAS BEEN EXCEPTIONAL, AND THIS SUCCESS HAS POSITIONED THE GAME AMONG THE BEST SELLERS OF THE 2012 HOLIDAY SEASON. WE KNEW WE HAD SOMETHING SPECIAL ON OUR HANDS WHEN ASSASSIN’S CREED III WAS LAUNCHED, AND WE’RE REALLY EXCITED AND PROUD TO SEE HOW MUCH FANS ARE ENJOYING THE LATEST INSTALLMENT IN THE FRANCHISE.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be final part of Witcher series and it will be the first title confirmed for the next generation consoles. In regards to the open world, Badowski says players should expect a game world that is “30 times bigger thanThe Witcher 2” and its world. “Players will freely travel through woods, lakes, mountains, cities, and villages. Each region is inhabited by distinct populations with their own customs, legends and problems.” Geralt will have his steed to get around or he can hop on a boat and set sail for his destination.
